Daubing Clay At Dawn
A piece written for string quartet. Written using the cantus firmus technique (of all things). Actual sound is pretty brittle and noisy. Quite a cool piece though. Would suit a program that requires a more experimental piece, featuring gradations of sound and texture.
It’s actually only ever been performed in a public workshop with the Vandburgh Quartet, who played it in the Kevin Barry room of the NCH, Dublin. So not yet in concert
